Our Destination blog is a little different from those on most other travel websites. You see, we “get it” that you know about Paris’ tourist attractions; we have no doubt you’ll visit the Eiffel Tower (as you should).

What we want to do is show you the things you don’t know about: the secrets of a city, so to speak.

Our destination pieces are written by people who love their cities, and have lived in them for many years. They know all the off-the-beaten-path places, and are delighted to share them with you. We’re talking about special shopping venues, exquisite little hotels, and ambles that will delight and inspire you. And sometimes, yes, you will read about a well-known and well-loved attraction, but you will learn something “new” about it.

We also focus on areas in the news, and how to get there (think China, 2008 Olympics). Don’t see the city you want to visit in our blog? Hang on; we’ll be adding new destinations again and again, so please keep checking back.
